Very temperamental remote

Jay,
Appreciate your sending me new remote/power unit. Still very temperamental operation and I've tried all combinations of remote/receiver equipment. I'm an banjo and guitar player so I don't think the problems is my finger's control of the the keypad. I still regard the vibration plate as the best quality/value on the market....the remote operation leaves something to be improved.
